Shoose Life is dedicated to ensuring that every child has access to quality school shoes. We supply durable and comfortable school shoes made from 100% recyclable materials, aligning our efforts with environmental sustainability. Through strategic partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations, we identify students in need and distribute our shoes directly to them by physically going to the school or community, letting each child fit their pair of shoes and assist them in tying their shoes laces. Your generous donations will allow us to reach more students, helping them overcome obstacles and pursue education with renewed hope.

Research shows that more than 5 million children in our country do not have a pair of school shoes. Shoose Life is an NPC who aims to get 1 Million pairs of shoes on children’s feet by the end of 2023.
In disadvantaged communities, students face numerous challenges and inadequate footwear is one of them. The absence of proper school shoes affects their self-esteem, hinders their educational participation and creates a barrier to success. By donating just R 35.00 per pair of school shoes, you can make a direct and tangible impact on the lives of these students, enabling them to attend school with confidence, focus on their studies, and dream of a better future.
Shoes are recycled from uncontaminated Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) drip bags, oxygen masks and associated tubing to manufacture durable and fully recyclable school shoes. It only takes 20 drip bags to make one pair of school shoes. They are then laced up, packaged with love and distributed as a gift of dignity to children in the lower LSM schools at no cost to the children or their schools. This is made possible by the generous donations of corporations, individuals and civil society organisations.
Looking after our environment, these shoes are kind to the environment by contributing to reducing healthcare waste to landfill and associated greenhouse gas emissions that are harmful to the environment. This is also an example of embracing a circular economy by showing how a green solution can fulfill a material need for a business while simultaneously benefiting society – in this case, by supporting education, job creation and enterprise development
Shoose Life has collaborated with My Walk to expand its efforts and get even more school shoes to learners in need throughout South Africa and cross border.
The My Walk initiative is a social and environmental sustainability partnership between Netcare and Adcock Ingram Critical Care.
It’s a privilege to be able to collaborate with the My Walk initiative to provide children in need with a free pair of extremely durable, waterproof and recyclable pair of school shoes across the country.
Shoose Life teams have been on the ground since March and have to date distributed close to 5000 pairs of Shoes.
